It’s a little deeper into Bushwick than the area you’re describing. But not too far! It’s called Tony’s. Right across from the Knickerbocker Ave train station.
I don’t really live in that area, but was checking out a couch from craigslist one night and there was a chalkboard out front that read, “vegan pizza!”
We stopped by tonight because Paulie Gee’s wasn’t doing take out. The sign wasn’t out tonight, so we freaked out. Luckily, their display case had vegan slices, so we knew we were safe. We got a large vegan pie and it came to 19.50. You can get regular or whole wheat crust. They also had a crazy looking vegan vegetable pizza that had hummus on it.
